Lots of criminals have families, lol. I got 174 winks from people who True says want to meet me, yet when I checked the "who viewed my profile" feature- NO ONE according to True, has looked at my profile except their profile coach, lol.
Being constantly sent winks from FAKE members who haven't looked at your profile is a scam, I'm not jealous of my local cracks dealers either just cause they make more money than I do, hahahahaha. How is it NOT realistic to expect that real people will look at your profile when you pay money to a site claiming you will meet real people? When "Herb's personal business" is lying to people and ripping them off, and I am one of the people he's trying to do it to- yeah it becomes my business. Go crawl back under the rock with Herb.
None of these people even fit the parameters I put in, none are local and most are looking for women 10+ years younger than I am. Does the monitor room monitor the scam users too? And as far as the background check, is that where they ask you to agree you are neither married nor a criminal before you sign up?

So glad I found this. My husband and I met through True Beginings, now True.com. I did't know they changed names. They haven't taken my husbands profile and keep trying to lure him back. I came across this accidently and if it wasnt for this post about how they dont remove profile, I would have thought husband was cheating on me. Thanks!!!!! We have been in sorts over this and could have cost us our marriage. Really, this needs to be reported and some how taken care of. Can you imagine how many other people have gone through this and actually were divorced over it?

Well lets see I saw the add and I was like I will sign up. I only use my card at My college to pay for books and stuff. So I though i would sign up. After I signed up and the "free" trial they charged me $15 instead of $9. I checked my card balance and it was way to low. After I signed up my card had charges from the other side of the U.S. I had a bad experience on there to. One girl kept on asking me to add her on facebook and when i did she started posting things about some sex web cast. The first day on there a 66 year old man sent me a message on there saying he wanted to rape me. I have to admit i did make one real friend on there near me. But the site is a scam. I tryed to cancel multiple. But everytime they would yell at me and call me a scammer. I tryed to call again and i got a message saying the number was dissconected. I then called from my friends phone and I got a hold of them. I am over drawn because of what they did. I had to contact my bank to block all transactions from them to make it stop. I am going to talk to my lawyer to see what i have to do to sue them.

In addition to their policies of not letting you out, they have the
NEW CRUSH MESSAGE flashing on almost every page. Go through the sign up process ending with a $9.95. Then a pin number is sent to your cell phone. Then take the sign up steps again and have Avg pop up and say this is a Phishing scam.

This outfit is a bonafide scam. Stay away. You can't cancel without talking to one of their customer reps, and they dont cancel your membership, they just keep charging you. I changed my profile to see how good their match algorithm works, asking for a drinking woman, who smoked, was an atheist, and practiced her religion daily, was between 4 feet and 3 feet tall and between the ages of 85 and 90, had to live over 250 miles away and they had over 700 matches for me. I have decided that the only way to stop the charges is to go to the bank and arrange it there. Hope that works.

This site is certainly a SCAM!!!! I would NEVER recommend anyone to sign up, I was scammed exactly the way explained in the previous post, not being able to cancel right on the site, having to cancel by phone in another time zone from mine, being talked to rudely by the so-called customer service rep and then tried to cancel on the site by typing info in the e-mail box and then still charged 9.98 and an additional 49.99, this site is a RIP OFF!!! And I never got any messages from anyone in my area only guys in CA, FL or other far away places, stay AWAY from this site!!!!

Thanks for this post... I wasn't scammed by them but rather a person off of another site who claimed he was a soldier and wanted me to get him leave. There was fake email address to which I was supposed to send money to process his leave application. I knew that instant is was a scam. Wondering how many women fall for it. Thanks for this post again--I will be sure to blog about it.
